Vacancy: Event Planner
The Tanzania Sustainable Development Platform is seeking an experienced event planner to organize our upcoming National Forum. This important event will take place on 16 April, and we are looking for a professional who can ensure its success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in event planning and management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work within a budget and meet deadlines
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with sustainable development topics is a plus
Deliverables:
- Comprehensive event plan and timeline
- Coordination of venue, catering, and logistics
- Management of invitations and RSVPs
- Arrangement of accommodations for guests and speakers
- Development of event materials (programs, signage, etc.)
- On-site event management and support
- Post-event evaluation and report
Time Frame:
- Event dates: April 16th 2024
- Planning and preparation to commence immediately upon selection
