UNA Tanzania in partnership with UNA Finland conducted Kesho Yetu, Climate Hack, where Young people presented innovative ideas based on early warning systems to vulnerable communities, food security and mobilization for climate action and resilience themes.
The Kesho Yetu Climate Hack had a total of 6 teams named (ST. JOSEPH CSE, THE REHAB SHE WINNERS, ENV MATES, THE ’90s, and ENVIRONMENT IS LIFE) from Tanzania each with different ideas on climate change solutions that will work for the Tanzanian communities and there were three other teams from Finland named (RED, INSENSITIVE DOGS & CRT) who also had climate change solutions ideas for Tanzania context. The Hackathon was done for three days the first day was for developing ideas for both teams, second day was pitching day and
for teams to meet with mentors so they could sharpen their ideas and the third day was final presentation to judges and finding a winner.
