JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE DATA ENTRY POSITION
Data Entry Interns
Objective: The Data Entry Interns will support the organization by accurately and efficiently entering data into a specified system. This internship aims to provide the intern with valuable experience in data collection, management, and analysis.
Data Entry:
Accurately input data from specified sources into the designated databases or spreadsheets.
Verify and correct data discrepancies as needed.
Ensure data integrity and consistency.
Quality Assurance:
Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
Report any data issues or anomalies to the supervisor.
Data Management:
Organize and maintain data records in an organized and accessible manner.
Assist in data cleaning and data deduplication activities as directed.
Reporting:
Generate basic reports or summaries from the entered data when required.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with team members to ensure data entry tasks align with project requirements.
Communicate any challenges or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Qualification
Currently completed in a related degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business).
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data entry and basic data management tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
