Our Partners
Embodying the spirit of goal 17 of the SDGs on partnership for sustainable development, the platform while maintaining a CSOs only membership base, it is open for partnerships with other development stakeholders such as the private sector, media, think tanks, academia, development agencies, local government authorities, national parliament, government institutions, regional economic communities, regional and global civil society organizations, initiatives, platforms and networks.
The platform is part of the Africa Civil Society Working Group (AWG), a regional civil society platform for civil society organizations and citizens’ movements on sustainable development (Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2063). The platform is also part of Action for Sustainable Development (A4SD), and Together 2030, which are global civil society initiatives on Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals.
The platform has reached out to the national parliament to serve as the secretariat for the parliamentary caucus on sustainable development, and forge strategic partnership between the national parliament and civil society organizations on follow-up and monitoring of the implementation of sustainable development.
The platform has also reached out to the local government authorities to facilitate the strategic partnership between regional civil society networks and community-based organizations with their local government authorities for meaningful and impactful engagement of citizens and civil society organizations in the implementation, follow-up and monitoring of the sustainable development in their respective areas.
